SCAC Workshop: Reality Distortion – Representational Mixed Media

Go to Shelby County Art Council’s website to register:

https://shelbycountyartscouncil.com//classes/

This workshop begins with a quick demonstration and continues with guided explorations. We will be working with a set-up still life as reference to begin with, setting up the “structure” of our mixed media works. Then we allow for abstraction, disruption, and distortion with the various mixed media. The techniques used in this workshop will be applied to a still life, but they can be applied to other subject matters such as portraiture and landscape. Learn new skills or develop and improve skills as we work from direct observation and incorporate your artistic liberties with Anna providing individualized feedback.

*Class limit: 10 students

Skill Level: open to students with previous drawing experience.
