Workshop: Creating Depth –Realism Painting Fabric. Day 1.

This workshop begins with a series of demonstrations and guided explorations. This class covers foundation color theory concepts, color mixing, and brushstroke techniques used in realism painting. We will be working primarily with fabric as the subject matter, but the techniques used in this workshop apply to other genres such as portraiture and still life. Learn new skills or develop and improve skills as we work from photographs, direct observation, and incorporate your artistic liberties with Anna providing individualized feedback.

*Class limit: 10 students

Skill Level

Open to students of all levels working in any drawing and painting media. All demonstrations are done in oil.

Ages 16+.

2 weeks (3 classes):

Saturday, October 7th – 2pm – 5pm

Saturday, October 14th – 2pm – 5pm

Sunday, October 15th – 2pm – 5pm
